Experience the Remarkable Story of the All Black Woman Army Battalion known as the 6888th.

The City of Cambridge Mayor's Office, in collaboration with the Veterans' Office, proudly presents a special screening of 688 a moving tribute to the determined Black women who served in the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion in the Army during World War II.

You are invited to celebrate Women Veterans Day as we honor our trailblazing servicewomen whose courage and resilience continue to inspire generations.

Join us for an evening of history, resilience, and inspiration at the VFW, located at 688 Huron Ave, Cambridge, MA, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

On-street parking is available for your convenience. We invite you to make your experience extra comfortable—please bring your own pillows and blankets—and enjoy a delightful spread featuring Food, Drinks, Treats, and Great Company with Veterans.
